Post 2. My best holidays ever

The best holidays I ever had were back in December of 2015, there, my family and I went to the gorgeous city of Buenos Aires.

We went there for just 5 days, but we enjoyed every minute of that trip, we beginning our vacations by going to the "Japanese" park and then to the "planetarium", on that day we also walk a little bit in the city and we ate some typical foods. The city impressed us immediately, it was like nothing that we had ever met.

I don't exaggerate with that affirmation, we live in Curicó, a small town in the centre of Chile, and the biggest city that we used to know was Santiago, so be in Buenos Aires was a completely different experience, it is a city with a lot of life during the day and the night, there, you could see all kinds of persons and everybody were very talkative. Also, that was the very first time that our family travelled to another country, so even before the trip we were anxious and excited, I think that these were the main reasons that made this holidays the best so far.

Anyway, in the rest of the days that we spent there, we had the opportunity to walk around and know a lot of great places in Buenos Aires, we met "La Bombonera" stadium, the "25 de mayo" square, the traditional neighbourhood "Caminito" (actually, in the photography we are there), "La casa Rosada" (the palace of government) and the "La Plata" river, which have a beautiful platform with many restaurants.

Been in Buenos Aires with my family was definitely an experience that I will never forget!

  1. Argentina is a country very interesting, I've gone a few times and I enjoy staying here, the food is delicious and is true that the people there are so talkative and very noisy too.

Post 7: Changes to my study program

- Here you can see a lovely photo of my faculty! Because I am just in the half of my second year of university, I can not talk so much about the changes that I would like to apply to my career, but I will do my best to tell certain things that I have thought about until this moment. First, I have thought that the curriculum generally speaking is fine, except for maybe one or two subjects that I truly believe are bad subjects. In our first semester of the career, we had one subject called: Leer, Escribir y Hablar en las Ciencias Sociales, as you may imagine this subject was meant to be a kind of introduction to university writing, something that could give us some basic knowledge to read and write in this new chapter of our education, well... let's say that basically, this subject was everything less that, it was just a complete mess and a waste of time and resources, if the faculty want to keep with this subject they will need to do something way better than this. Like I said befor...

Post 3: Let's talk about the pandemic

Due to the coronavirus, many people are struggling with many different problems, problems like the economic crisis, which is affecting common people and big enterprises, causing serious complications for almost everybody, increasing the inequity of our country and in most of the world.  There are also difficulties in terms of mental health because the world situation causes anxiety and fear, especially in those people that live alone or in older persons. Also, teleworking and online classes have not been the best experience for many of us, it is well known that those new kinds of work or study made life more difficult, many people now have problems with organization, sleeping habits, and with their yield in work/classes themselves. Today people had to change most of their lives, the way that we used to work, study, share with others, get out to the street, everything now is completely different. The vast majority of us is now living more connected to the internet and technologies t...
